BELLEVUE, WA, November 4, 2012 – Strain Systems Inc. now offers high-performance level measurement of silo farm inventories with its new ENSEMBLE-L – with the convenience of local or remote monitoring of four silos from a single electronics screen.

“Our objective was to provide highly accurate level monitoring for silo farms nonintrusively so as to eliminate the usual problems that hamper other level measurement devices,” said Kennan Yilmaz, President of Strain Systems. “We not only achieve that but also provide plant managers with one combined monitoring center for every four silos.”

The ENSEMBLE-L is based on the company’s patented StrainCell™ technology, which has proven field accuracies better than 1% of full scale on silos supported by legged structures and 3–4% on selected skirted silos. “StrainCell sensors produce temperature-compensated, omni-directional strain readings that are the most accurate, repeatable, and sensitive in the market,” added Yilmaz.

Calibration and operation of the ENSEMBLE-L are performed at an electronics touch screen that displays continuous level readings of four silos at once. No additional conversion tables or calculations are required. The electronics display may be installed at the plant or thousands of miles away; it can be monitored from anywhere in the world; and the four silos do not have to share a location. Ethernet interface is included with the ENSEMBLE-L; it also comes with free software to connect on a private or public network to the company’s Windows-based SOLO Manager®, and Android-based Connexion® to provide for remote access by phone.
