Strain Systems Brings Plug-and-Play Cellular Remote Access to Its Silo Weighing and Level Measurement Solutions

BELLEVUE, WA, October 21, 2012 – Strain Systems Inc. now ensures Internet access to customer SOLO™ systems at plants in isolated USA locations where neither wired Internet nor wi-fi networks are available. SiloLink™ enables customers to access their SOLO silo weight and level measurement information from anywhere in the world and integrate it into corporate communication networks.

“Some of our customers have storage silos in remote areas where Internet connection is not readily available,” said Kennan Yilmaz, President of Strain Systems. “We have developed a structure in cooperation with leading telecommunication companies to assure these customers of 24/7 access over the cellular network to their silo inventory data whether they are at home or anywhere overseas.”

Cellular remote access is the latest component to be added by the company to its turnkey system for accurate, continuous measurement of silo inventories. Through software innovations introduced earlier this year, customers can remotely monitor and control their silo weighing system, the SOLO™-W, and silo level measurement system, the SOLO™-L, by using the SOLO Manager® and SOLO Connexion® software, both of which are available to customers free of charge. “Now with SiloLink, customer plants presently without Internet service have the same opportunity for continuous, real-time silo monitoring,” said Yilmaz.

Currently offered only in the USA, this plug-and-play capability will be extended to other geographical regions of the world when customer feedback reveals the need.
